PMA Daily Command
Daily Command combines time-sensitive operational records into one explainable queue. It helps you decide what to address next without replacing keeper judgement, veterinary care, equipment inspection, or Housing assessment.
Before you begin
Permissions
All organization members can view authorized records. Keepers can complete eligible care and Housing maintenance. Owners, admins, and managers can switch between their work and all-team work.
Recorded sources
Daily Command only surfaces information already recorded elsewhere in PMA. Add schedules, service dates, maintenance routines, team assignments, and Continuity responsibilities to improve coverage.
What Daily Command uses
Scheduled care
Feeding, cleaning, water, measurements, and other active care schedules.
Health and environment
Recorded health follow-ups and environmental logging profiles with due dates.
Housing operations
Maintenance routines, equipment service dates, equipment status, and readiness gaps from Housing Setup.
Team and Continuity
Assigned staff tasks and active PMA Continuity responsibilities in the selected scope.
Use the command workspace

Open Daily Command
Choose Care → PMA Daily Command. The briefing cards summarize urgent, overdue, due-today, setup-gap, estimated-duration, and completed work.

Read the command brief
The first urgent records are shown with the reason they were elevated and a link to the authoritative PMA record.

Set your command window
Choose timing, work type, a 3-, 7-, 14-, or 30-day lookahead, and—when permitted—your work or all-team work.

Complete eligible work
Quick-completable care and maintenance can be recorded directly. Work that requires evidence or changed details opens its source workflow instead.

Confirm the result
A green success message confirms the saved action. Completed work moves to Completed today after the authoritative record refreshes.
How priority works
Urgent can mean overdue work, an explicitly urgent or blocked assignment, out-of-service equipment, service-required equipment, or a critical recorded Housing configuration gap. Due today and upcoming are based on the dates you configured.
What it does not claim
Daily Command does not diagnose an animal, certify Housing, confirm that a device is safe, predict equipment failure, or mark work complete without a user action.
Controls
Filters
Timing and work-type filters change what is shown without changing the underlying records.
Lookahead
The lookahead controls upcoming maintenance, service, and Continuity work. Overdue and due-today records remain visible when their timing section is selected.
Compact rows
Compact mode reduces explanation text for faster scanning. Open the record when you need the full evidence or action workflow.
Troubleshooting
A record is missing
Confirm it has an active status and a due date inside the selected lookahead. Team and Continuity records may also be filtered to your assignments.
Maintenance cannot be completed here
Routines requiring completion evidence must be opened in Housing Setup so the required evidence can be attached.
Equipment appears urgent
Open the linked Housing Setup record. Daily Command may be reflecting an out-of-service or needs-service status, an overdue service date, or an active assignment.
Preferences do not follow me
Preferences are stored per member and organization. If they do not follow you, confirm the active workspace and sign-in session, then retry.
Current scope
This guide covers the current PMA Daily Command workflow. Real-time IoT, thermostat control, predictive equipment failure, and automated incident response are outside this workflow.
