Spatial Routes, Biosecurity & Continuity
Create versioned route references directly on a measured Spatial Blueprint. Routes can organize Guided Rounds, sanitation work, BioShield movement, Continuity responsibilities, and emergency-reference paths without replacing the authoritative PMA records behind them.
Who can use it
All authorized members can view saved routes. Owners, administrators, and managers can create, reorder, version, activate, and archive them.
What stays authoritative
Housing, equipment, BioShield zones, restrictions, and Continuity plans remain in their original systems. Spatial Routes links to those records rather than copying them.
Create a route

Open the measured blueprint
Choose the facility or room blueprint containing the Housing, equipment, doors, openings, and other design objects needed for the route.

Create a route draft
Choose New round or Sanitation, then select the purpose: Guided Round, sanitation, biosecurity, Continuity, or emergency reference.

Add ordered stops
Enable Add stops on canvas. Select placed Housing or equipment to create an authoritative stop, or select empty canvas space to add a measured waypoint.

Review the sequence
Move stops up or down, reverse the path, or use Suggest order. The suggestion uses measured distance only and never overrides a restriction.

Link operational context
Optionally link a BioShield zone and an active Continuity plan. PMA then displays recorded PPE, cleaning requirements, movement boundaries, and open responsibilities.

Save a route version
Add a version note and save. Each save creates an immutable route snapshot while leaving the measured blueprint version independent.
Route purposes
Guided Round
Plan an ordered physical sequence through placed Housing or equipment. PMA shows measured route distance and retains manual control of the final order.
Sanitation path
Link a BioShield zone to surface recorded PPE, cleaning requirements, and dedicated-equipment expectations alongside the route.
Biosecurity route
Review active movement or access restrictions and zone-to-zone destination rules before treating a route as active.
Continuity route
Attach an active Continuity plan and surface its open responsibilities beside the facility path.
Emergency reference
Reference doors, openings, and waypoints. This is a planning aid only and is not an approved evacuation plan or code certification.
Understand route checks
Information
Recorded PPE, cleaning instructions, and closed-plan context are shown as references.
Warning
A route may be incomplete, missing a linked zone or plan, contain a duplicate stop, or lack a door/opening reference.
Blocker
A placed stop has a recorded movement/access restriction, or the path crosses into a destination not allowed by the source BioShield zone rules. Resolve the authoritative record before relying on the route.
Safety boundary
Suggested ordering is a distance estimate based on recorded evidence and references. PMA does not authorize restricted movement or certify sanitation completion. PMA does not replace an approved emergency plan, posted safety procedures, professional advice, or local code requirements.
Troubleshooting
A route cannot be activated safely
Review each blocker, open BioShield, and correct the restriction or zone rule in its authoritative record. Refresh Spatial Canvas afterward.
A stop moved after the blueprint changed
Stops linked to placed objects follow those objects automatically. Waypoints retain their measured coordinates.
Suggest order is not the workflow I need
The suggestion uses nearest measured distance. Reorder stops manually whenever husbandry sequence, sanitation direction, quarantine separation, or staff responsibility matters more.
Continuity responsibilities are missing
Confirm the route is linked to the correct active Continuity plan and that the plan contains open items.
