Combined Cross is the default view. It combines the possible gametes from every included locus into one classical matrix, with sire gametes across the top and dam gametes down the left. Each cell shows the resulting genotype and breeder-readable offspring result.

1. 1. Calculate a Free Cross or Collection cross.
2. 2. Open Combined Cross to inspect the complete pairing matrix.
3. 3. Read sire gametes across the top and dam gametes down the side.
4. 4. Use Trait Breakdown when you want to isolate one trait or locus and understand that inheritance by itself.
5. 5. For very large crosses PMA starts with a condensed view so the result stays usable; the complete matrix remains available when practical.

Possible-het certainty is represented as weighted gametes. PMA does not pretend uncertain inheritance produces four equal 25% cells.
