Facility & Capacity Intelligence
Use recorded PMA Housing, Spatial Blueprints, Spatial Routes, maintenance, equipment, environmental zones, BioShield controls, and selected breeding-project demand to understand current capacity and preview controlled future scenarios.
Purpose
Show where capacity is available, occupied, reserved, dedicated to quarantine, unavailable, constrained, or projected to fall short.
Permissions
Organization members can read intelligence and saved scenarios. Owners, administrators, and managers can save or archive scenarios.
Important boundaries
Facility Intelligence is an explainable planning model. It does not certify building code, welfare suitability, staffing sufficiency, quarantine release, or emergency readiness. Proposed moves and saved scenarios never change live animal, Housing, BioShield, Continuity, Spatial, or Project Navigator records.
Before you begin
- • Configure Housing capacity or layout positions where possible.
- • Assign active animals to their current Housing records.
- • Record reserved, unavailable, or quarantine Housing status accurately.
- • Place Housing on Spatial Blueprints for physical-area and route context.
- • Maintain Housing Setup, environmental-zone, equipment-assignment, maintenance, and BioShield records.
Step-by-step workflow
Open Facility Intelligence
From PMA navigation, open Facility Intelligence. The overview reads current Housing, Spatial, maintenance, environment, equipment, BioShield, and Project Navigator records.
Review the capacity summary
Compare configured, occupied, available general, quarantine, reserved, unavailable, and BioShield-constrained capacity.
Inspect room concentration
Open Rooms & workload to identify where maintenance, setup, environment, equipment, unmapped Housing, or route workload is concentrated.
Build a scenario
Enter planned animals, expected offspring, holdbacks, quarantine admissions, temporary Housing disruptions, or proposed animal moves.
Preview before saving
Select Preview scenario. PMA recalculates the model and explains any shortfall or movement blocker without changing a live record.
Save evidence
Owners, administrators, and managers can save the scenario and its result snapshot for later review.
Room intelligence
PMA groups capacity-eligible Housing under its nearest room, building, or facility ancestor and shows utilization, maintenance, coverage gaps, spatial mapping, and route workload.
Route duration estimate
The estimate uses measured route distance, 180 feet per minute walking speed, and 45 seconds per recorded stop. It is not a staffing or performance commitment.
Proposed moves
A move preview checks target capacity, operational state, quarantine designation, and active BioShield movement or access restrictions.
Project demand
Selected Project Navigator routes can contribute their juvenile and holdback demand to the scenario. This demand remains an estimate until offspring and holdbacks are actually recorded.
