Step-by-step workflow
Review the preview
Confirm current usage, Keeper allowances, Pro-only workspaces, scheduled date, and whether any automations will pause.
Reduce usage when appropriate
Archive eligible active resources or remove unused seats. Historical records remain available.
Cancel before the effective date
An authorized platform operator can cancel the scheduled downgrade before it applies.
Operate after downgrade
Essential operational data remains usable. Pro-created planning data stays visible and exportable but may become read-only; Pro-only automation definitions remain stored but paused.
Expected result
The organization understands the exact future restrictions while all existing customer data remains preserved.
Safety boundaries
- No plan change deletes animals, images, health history, lineage, messages, or audit events.
- Reactivating an archived resource requires available allowance.
- Ownership transfers do not reset plan history, trials, or usage.
- Exports remain available after downgrade.
Troubleshooting
PMA is over the Keeper limit
Existing resources remain. Creation and reactivation of the restricted metric stay blocked until usage returns within allowance or Pro is restored.
A Pro workspace is read-only
The data is retained. Restore an eligible Pro state to resume Pro-only editing or export the retained evidence.
